SAFELISTS EXPLAINED
| Safe Lists are a valuable way (if used properly) to e-mail a "LIST" of people in exchange for reading their email offers. Discover how to use safelists to advertise your promotions. You receive credits for reading the email and viewing the page for usually 15 seconds so quite similar as Traffic Exchanges except you get a chance to explain the Site, Benefits, and any bonuses. It is a very effective way to advertise unless you are advertising the same thing as 90% of the other people are advertising. This is simply a waste of time. The size of Safe Lists, Credits, Available E-mailing periods (once a day, Three times a week, Or once a week are common) The amount of People you can Email also varies from 40,000 to 1500 or less also depending on your credits available. Upgrades are available in all Safe lists and should be considered after you see how responsive the list is as well as the price of upgrade. Some can be quite expensive. You can also purchase credits at some Safe List sites. Which s well worth looking into if you are getting good results. RULES: Every Site has Rules for E-mailing and have to be followed or your account will be terminated. The Rules are pretty basic and very similar for all an example of some of the rules are: E-mails must not include: You have earned a commission Any reference to an account (Termination, Sign up received) I seen your Ad and ...... You just made a referral Using SOLO in subject if it is not a Solo mail Anything Adult related Tips: Be unique by avoiding sending similar as the majority. Keep it short and sweet. (Long e-mails likely won't be read) Capture interest with a catchy subject and opening line. Cloak your links. This is a must if putting Urls in E-mail. My Personal favorite is here: (notice link is "cloaked") Cloak links here Use personalization when permitted usually {FIRST_NAME} or similar on most safe lists the system then replaces with the persons name such as David. Hi {FIRST_NAME}, Look What I Found Today! Changes to Hi David, Look What I Found Today! It helps seriously it really does :-) TRACK YOUR E-MAILS Most don't and have no idea which is working and which isn't You can easily track them by using this system: Track Your Advertising Here Use 2 Gmail accounts 1 to sign up and 1 for the credited e-mails you will receive from other members this can add up fast especially if you are signed up to several lists so Gmail.com is the only way to go. |
The Rumor:
| The rumor is "SafeLists Don't Work" this is completely false. I dare say it was started by people that advertised the same e-mail as everyone else and expected to get results and complained when didn't then simply blamed the system instead of themselves. Harsh but I am afraid a reality. For example I listened to these people and didn't use Safe list . Personal Story: One Morning while half asleep I decided to create a quick little E-mail, Added to 2 safe lists figuring what the hell was bored at the time and after a long night what harm could it do? I went to bed after the whole 5 minutes to create add and send off. I woke up 4 hours later. (Yes I keep odd hours) to find 7 new sign ups to a program I love ...Hint it is at top right of this page ;-) Now in utter shock I figured just a Fluke but 7 is pretty heavy evidence. I sent the exact same E-mail out on a couple other lists Whammo instant sign ups again !! I won't say how many sign ups I have received solely from safe lists but it is not a small number and I don't want to basically start naming names as many of you reading this may very well have signed up from the safe lists ;-) All I will say is The Rumor Couldn't be more WRONG! I have a few personal Favorites that I am receiving very nice results from so I will share them with you to help in your getting started or to help you in General as to over look these is a serious mistake. I made that mistake now I hope I can prevent others from the same. :-) |
